Providing a digital support mechanism to those suffering from Dementia
Overview
This project in association with Newcastle Open Labs and Sunderland Software City was to build a mobile application to support both sufferers of Dementia and their supporters and loved ones.
The brief was provided and voted on by the public and we were lucky enough to be commissioned to develop the project.
Delivery
Utilising the features of React.Native.js enabled us to create both mobile and web apps within the project budget and exceed project deliverables.
The mobile application allows the end user to view their family tree and special events and moments that have happened in their life and also what is happening with their family at that time, supporters can upload videos, photos and updates to allow constant reminders of their loved ones to stimulate their brain using multiple sensors i.e. visual and auditory.
