Reporting period: January to December 2024

The emissions listed above also represent our most recent reporting period, which aligns with our baseline year.

4. Emissions Reduction Targets

To continue our progress towards Net Zero, we aim to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by transitioning to low-carbon energy sources and increasing operational efficiency. Scope 3 emissions will be addressed through reduced travel, continued hybrid working, and engaging suppliers on their sustainability practices.

We will formally set interim targets by Q4 2025 following further review and analysis of our supply chain and hosting infrastructure.

5. Carbon Reduction Projects

The following environmental management measures and projects are currently in place or planned:

  • Hybrid working to minimise commuting emissions.
  • Preference for trains over car or air travel for long-distance client meetings.
  • Use of energy-efficient lighting and shared commercial spaces to reduce energy use.
  • Monitoring of suppliers’ sustainability credentials and commitment to Net Zero as part of our procurement approach.
  • Shared waste and recycling facilities to reduce landfill.
  • Use of third-party hosting providers with known sustainability commitments (evidence on file).
  • Digital-first operations that minimise the need for physical assets and paper use.

These measures are reviewed regularly and will be applied when delivering any public sector contract.

6. Declaration and Governance

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with the guidance published by the UK Government and meets the requirements of Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 06/21.
