We have worked with Kestrel Ophthalmics for quite some time now - so long, in fact, that we can now pronounce ‘ophthalmics’ on demand and with absolute confidence! Rest assured this was not a statement we could have made in the early days.

Kestrel is based in the South of England and owned by Cutting Edge, a French company which is a leading eye treatments manufacturer offering a range of products available to medical professions throughout the UK and European markets.

 

Working with Kestrel’s branding agency, we were engaged to review the current website and its functionality.

 

Beginning with several discovery sessions following our own framework, we identified the objectives of the business and its website requirements in order to support these plans for growth.

However, this informational value was being lost due to the website being difficult to navigate, as well as not being optimised for mobile devices meaning traffic and potential enquiries were being lost.

 

We carried out a content analysis of the website, comprising a combination of a site architecture review and data analysis of the site’s existing content (and how users interacted with it). This analysis informed our rationale for wireframes and design concepts, which we presented to Kestrel along with a supporting narrative around how these proposed changes would support the growth of the business.
